A few months ago, we launched a pilot project with the District of West Vancouver Seniors’ Activity Centre — offering Life Chronicles sessions at a reduced community-centre rate to help members capture and preserve their personal stories on film.
We’re thrilled to share that the pilot was a success. The response from the community was wonderful, and the stories that came out of those sessions reminded us exactly why this work matters.
So we have some happy news: Life Chronicles sessions are now a permanent part of the Centre’s programming. Rather than a limited run of dates, we’ll be hosting regular sessions every month — at the same subsidized community-centre rate — so there’s always an opportunity to sit down and record the moments, memories, and milestones that make up your life story.
Whether you’ve been meaning to do this for years or the idea is brand new, there’s no longer any rush to catch a one-time pilot date. Sessions happen monthly, and you can choose the time that works best for you.
